Leveraging the power of Opengear’s CM4008, CM4116 and CM4148 units, the console server at the remote site can be accessed in-band through the enterprise TCP-IP network or directly through a dial-up modem port. Both connections provide secure, encrypted access to remote systems using up to 128-bit AES encryption. The Opengear CM4000 console server also provides a selection of filtering and access logging facilities, enabling console logs to be archived off-line.
