You can download a CDK for each Opengear IMG/IM/CM4000 appliance from ftp://ftp.opengear.com/cdk. This will be a gzipped tarball and you can obtain details on using the CDK from faq 284.

Licenses
Most components of the software are licensed under the GNU General Public License (version 2), which Opengear supports. You may obtain a copy of the GNU General Public License at http://www.fsf.org/copyleft/gpl.html. As stated in the Quick Start Manuals, Opengear will provide source code for any of the components of the software licensed under the GNU General Public License upon request.
- To create a firmware image for the range of Opengear family of Infrastructure Gateway/ Console Manager/ Device Server products, download the source from http://www.opengearweb.org/
- The IMG/IM/CM/SD4000 products are all built upon the okvm console management software. This is GNU GPL code and the source is available from okvm.sourceforge.net.
- The SDTConnnector remote access client builds from the sdtcon SSH tunneling management tool. This is GNU GPL code and the source is available from sdtcon.sourceforge.net.
- The IMG/IM/CM/SD4000 products are built on the uClinux kernel and embody a selection of BusyBox utilities. These are both licensed under GNU GPL and full source is available from uclinux.org and busybox.net. The family User Manual contains a list of all the commands and applications included in the IMG/IM/CM/SD4000 build trees.
- The IMG/IM/CM/SD4000 BIOS (boot loader code) is a port of uboot which is also a GNU GPL package with source openly available.
- The IMG/IM/CM/SD4000 CGIs (the html code, xml code and web config tools for the Console Manager) are proprietary to Opengear, however the code will be provided to customers under NDA.
- Inbuilt in the IMG/IM/CM/SD4000 is a PortManager application and other Config tools that, as above, are proprietary but open to customers under NDA..
