How does the IP-KVM1001 work? The IP-KVM connects to the keyboard, video, and mouse ports of the target server. It captures, digitizes, and compresses the video signal before transmitting it to a remote client PC. The IP-KVM gives the remote client full control over the target server.
A Remote Console java applet is down loaded from the IP-KVM to the remote client's PC. This opens a window on the client's PC displaying the screen content of the target system. The IP-KVM can also be used to locally and remotely manage multiple servers refer faq 341. |
